Add plugin extension point in CO person

Currently there's a way for a plugin to add to an existing menu, with the cmPluginMenus() hook, but there is not a way to add to an existing view. We would like to be able to add in particular to the CO Person view, to be able to add additional custom data items along with validators. We're aware of the Extended Attributes that add to the CO Person Role, but it isn't sufficiently flexible for us, and besides these data items make more sense when they're associated with a person and not a role. I am talking about things like home directory, quotas in various filesystems, and things like that, things used for system management. We have an existing database system we'd like to retire in addition to the VOMS admin system, and we would like to be able to do it with one product.
