Simple (vs Advanced) Filter for Index views

    Description

      Examine the value of using a Simple (generic) filter for index views using a single search box that can persist on the page at all times. This would be in addition to the advanced filter we already have on most index views. The simple filter might search by a single field or multiple (a combined index).
