Enrollment Flow Triggered From Pipeline Times Out If Email Not Configured

If an Enrollment Flow is triggered from a Pipeline, and that Enrollment Flow uses email confirmation, and email is not set up, the request (most likely) times out at the web server with a 500, rather than providing an informative error message.
