reports on groups cannot be retrieved from email by non admins

I’m having an issue with report retrieval. I added a viewers group to the report configuration. Everyone in the viewers group gets email about the report. Top level grouper admins (the members of etc:sysadmingroup ) can follow the link in the email to the report summary. The members of the viewers group get the “There was an error. Click here to start over.” page.

is it a folder or group report? and do the users have any privs on that folder or group? i will look at this and see if it is a quick fix

They’re group reports. The structure is a combination of the application and policy templates. The users who cannot access the reports are members of the update group in app:Adobe:security:AdobeUpdate we also tried adding them to the Admin group
