It is my personal feeling that well known urls should not be used:

1. They are usually just hosted on the server and are not in an always available discovery service
2. When they are down it can cause problems with Grouper unrelated to the OIDC provider
3. The OIDC URLs do not change much anyways and should just be entered instead of the well-known
