Consider an OIS that generates an Org Identity with a title in all caps, eg "RESEARCHER". The Org Identity will hold the un-normalized title. If the OIS is connected to a Pipeline, the CO Person Role record will hold the normalized title, eg "Researcher".
If some part of the source record is updated, the sync will always process the title as changed even if it hasn't, because RESEARCHER and Researcher are not the same string. The comparison code should perhaps normalize the source attribute before comparing, or perhaps normalization of Org Identity attributes would address this as well.
