Invitation Enrollment Flow - Field attribute pointing to Roles->Manager doesn't show field to input

We created an invitational Enrollment flow with a field attribute "Point of Contact" and associated it with Co Person Roles->Manager.  When the Petitioner clicks on the “Enroll” button, the "Point of Contact" field doesn’t have any textbox for the petitioner to input the name.
