Basically, all the sed and echo statements from Line 138's RUN command are redundant because the base image (tier/shibboleth_sp:3.0.4_03122019) already does it

we end up with doubled output in the log statements that are output, like this: httpd;access_log;;;httpd;access_log;;;172.17.0.1 ...

I think you want to keep the "cp /dev/null /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf" part though

if you diff the httpd.conf between the shib container and the grouper container, you can see it
