Description
Super Admin (Admin) Metadata Source and Action Required pages do not automatically update when a Delegated Admin (user) adds new metadata sources. SuperAdmin must engage the page by a function on the page or by refreshing the page.
Steps
Prerequisite: Have SuperAdmin logged into one browser and DelegatedAdmin logged into a different browser.
- Log in as SuperAdmin first, view the dashboard (Metadata Sources tab)
- Log in as DelegatedAdmin in other browser
- As DelegatedAdmin, add several new Metadata sources
What occurs
Note that over 5 minutes can pass and the items still don't post on SuperAdmin dashboard or Action Required page. A workaround for the user is to refresh the page or otherwise engage the page in an action.
What is expected
New Metadata Sources appear on SuperAdmin dashboard and Action Required pages without having to engage functionality.
