Updating Group Approvers does NOT update Dynamic Registration Approval Status

Scenario:

1. User B belongs to group YYY and group YYY does NOT have any approvers.
2. User C belongs to group ZZZ and group XXX are the approvers for group ZZZ.
3 Login as user B and create a dynamic registration.
4. Login as user C and create a dynamic registration.
5. Login as the admin.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

-The registration created by user b is approved.
-The registration created by user c is NOT approved.

6. Click on the Advanced dropdown menu in the upper-right corner and select the Groups options.
7. Remove group XXX as approvers for group ZZZ.
8. Add group XXX as approvers for group YYY.
9. Return to the Dynamic Registrations Dashboard.

Expected behavior: The following changes should be displayed:

-The registration created by user b is NOT approved.
-The registration created by user c is approved.

Actual behavior: The approval status was not updated:

-The registration created by user b is approved.
-The registration created by user c is NOT approved.

NOTES:

1. If I change the group for the registration created by user b and then change it back to group YYY, the registration then changes to NOT approved.

2. I tested the above scenarios using metadata sources and the sources approval status updated correctly.
